About Renewable Temporary Power

About Renewable Temporary Power

For a long time now, diesel generators have been the main source of temporary electricity on site, with its flexibility we have been able to just run it until the fuel runs out making it very simple for the user.

Photo of inverter and batteries

Government pressure in recent years to reduce carbon and harmful emissions like sulfates and nitrates has giving our industry the opportunity to evolve.

By reducing the generators running time and reducing the size of the engines we aim to do just that, whilst still giving our customers the power they require.

How can we do this?

Most power requirements rarely use the generators total capability for any sustained period, but you have to have the capacity for the times it may be required.

HPU - Key benefits

Reducing diesel engine size

The hybrid technology allows us to reduce the engine size by combining battery power and the generator, which In turn reduces the fuel consumption and emissions.

Reduce site noise.

We can program the generator not to run during night-time operations, and your power is supplied by battery power.

Fuel reduction set up.

This is where the batteries run until they either need recharging or the demand increases, reducing engine running time by up to 80%.

HPU Product Range

Renewable Temporary Power currentaly offers a range of 3 hybrid power units, 40KVA, 70KVA and 90KVA.

HPU 40

HPU 40 – This is designed to replace up to a 40 kVA generator. Inside a secure 12 x 8 ft container, The Generator is a 20 kVA with built in 800 litre fuel tank and a 20 kVA inverter. It comes standard with 30 kWh of battery capacity.

Modular capacity

The HPU range have a modular battery set up, allowing us to increase the KwH capacity for more demanding loads. This can be done on site making the HPU range extremely flexible.

Remote power control

Each Socket is fitted with a timer and wifi connection to support the reduction in power consumption. This allows the site to be set up reducing unnecessary power consumption.  If a room of heaters is left on, we can monitor and turn off this power and set a time when it should be used.
